The Owner is not responsible for the use third parties make of the published information, nor for the content of external sites linked from these pages.
2. Privacy policy (GDPR)
Who is the controller of your data?
The Owner identified in the legal notice. You can contact hola@nomadzero.com for any question about your data.
What data do we collect, and when?
Only when you voluntarily subscribe to the newsletter or request the guide:
- Email address (the one you type into the form).
- Context data: page language, the form you signed up from, time spent on the page, referring page (referrer) and approximate location (country, region and city) estimated from your IP address, as well as the IP address itself.
Why, and on what legal basis?
To send you the guide and the newsletter about tax residencies and jurisdictions for digital nomads, and to understand where our readers visit from. The legal basis is your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), given when you submit the form, which you may withdraw at any time.
Where is it stored, and who processes it?
- Google LLC (Google Sheets / Apps Script): storage of the subscriber list. This may involve international transfers to the US covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting and technical logs.
- ipwho.is: your browser queries this service to estimate your approximate location by IP.
- Google Fonts: fonts are served from Google's servers, which receive your IP when serving them.
We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for their commercial purposes.
For how long?
Until you unsubscribe or request erasure. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe; you can also request it by writing to the contact address.
Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to hola@nomadzero.com. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Spain, the AEPD — aepd.es).
3. Cookies and local storage policy
This site uses no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We only use your browser's technical local storage, essential for the site to work:
nc_lang_manual— remembers that you chose the language manually (so we don't redirect you).nc_geo_redirect— avoids repeating the automatic language redirect within the same session.nc_emails— a temporary local backup of your subscription if the submission fails.
These items do not identify you to third parties and are not used for advertising (which is why no consent banner is required). You can delete them at any time from your browser settings (clear site data).
4. Terms of use
- Informational content. All content on this site and in the newsletter is informational and educational. It does not constitute tax, legal or investment advice, nor does it create any professional relationship. Before making decisions about your tax residency, consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
- No guarantee of results. Tax and immigration regulations change and their application depends on each case. Figures (0%, 10%, timelines, etc.) are indicative and may vary.
- Limitation of liability. The Owner is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of this site's information, for errors or omissions beyond its control, or for technical interruptions of the service.
- Permitted use. You agree to use the site lawfully and not to damage, overload or attempt unauthorised access to its systems.
- Minimum age. The site is aimed at people over 18.
- Changes. We may update these legal texts; the current version is always the one published on this page.
- Applicable law. These terms are governed by Spanish law and applicable European regulations (including the GDPR). For EU consumers, the courts of their place of residence shall have jurisdiction.
